Sydney Ports investigating recent delays at DP World and Patrick terminals

SYDNEY Ports says it will continue to proactively monitor port operations, following recent delays at both its DP World and Patrick terminals.

According to Sydney Ports, both ports have experienced setbacks over the past two weeks because of operational constraints and ongoing weather issues.

Sydney Ports claims it has contacted all stakeholders about the enforced delays both up and down the supply chain. It will continue to seek data and provide relevant notice updates as required.

Sydney Ports says the issues will be raised at the next Sydney Ports Cargo Facilitation Committee meeting scheduled for 20 October 2009.
