PORT Heldand’s port facility has become the prime destination for Atlas Iron who has shipped over one million tonnes as part of its Pardoo Direct Shipping Ore (DSO) Project.
“This is a fantastic achievement for the Company, particularly when you consider that we started mining in the middle of the global financial crisis in late 2008. I would like to thank Atlas staff, our contractors and FMG,” Atlas managing direction, David Flanagan says.
According to Atlas, 1,082,912 WMT of iron ore was shipped since December 2008 with 1,020,758 WMT were shipped in the 2009.
