CEO appointed for Oakajee Port and Rail

JOHN Langoulant has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Oakajee Port and Rail (OPR).

Bringing more than 35 years of experience in the government and private sector, Langoulant will oversee the development of the Oakajee deepwater port and an integrated rail system to service Western Australia’s mid-west iron ore industry.

The OPR project is a joint venture between Murchison Metals and Mitsubishi Development in the aim to unlock the value of the mid-west mining region.

According to OPR, the Joint Ventures are confident of Langoulant’s ability to see the project through with operations to commence in late 2013 to 2014.
